FAQ
EJW Overview
First of all, thank you for taking the time to consider me as your wedding photographer or videographer. I've been doing this for many years and I'm hoping to communicate my style best as possible during your evaluation process. Listed below are some of my techniques along with some frequently asked questions.
Committed Preparation
Before each shoot our standard practice is to attend each location to observe all surrounding elements. Completing a wedding day shoot is typically very complex and requires a strong awareness of your environment. Our goals are to determine the appropriate settings for all the gear along with discovering the perfect locations to complete each shoot segment.
Lifestyle & Traditional Posing
During your research you may hear terms like: Lifestyle, Documentary, Environmental, Traditional, etc... Our personal style will always document every important detail big or small throughout the day. But also place a strong focus on posing. Through my years of training I've developed an intuitive sense how to properly pose not only brides and grooms but those important large family group photos
Trusted Assistants
A key element to the success of a shoot is working with a team you can count on. We work with a number of reliable and friendly professionals. And our team is in a state of constant communication before and during the shoot to ensure there is always a camera pointing in the direction of something priceless!
Guaranteed Tools of the Trade
Our wedding photography set-up is second to none with top tier technology capable of performing in any scenario. On team EJW we do not leave anything to chance, every major piece of gear we have has a backup "just in case." One thing I've learned for certain is equipment will fail. Before any shoot we go through a detailed checklist with every tool we need to guarantee top quality results.
High Fashion Studio Style
Through our creative technique we utilize a complex lighting set-up where we use multiple lights whenever possible to give your images more of a commercial studio look. Notice the edge lights which really allow the subjects to "pop" in a way that jumps off the page. Outside of capturing your biggest moments our primary goal is to create a very unique style that belongs on the cover of a magazine!
